This passport wallet is absolutely beautiful... clearly well made, with smooth, appealing leather. It has the right number of slots and the stitching is nice and tight. It's also attractively packaged (box is visible in photos above). For all these reasons I'm so sad that I have to return it! The compartment intended to hold the passport itself is too skimpy--a whole passport won't fit in, and it's even hard to slide in just the front or back cover (see photo with a passport next to the slot). I don't like to store my passport by just the one cover... the covers nowadays contain bar codes or other security information (depending on the country) that could get damaged or certainly worn by wiggling the cover in and out of the compartment. In addition, some countries attach papers to the visa within the passport that are at greater risk of ripping off with the passport flapping open when you open the wallet. From a personal security standpoint I'm also not keen on my passport being visible when I open the wallet. I'd rather put the whole passport into the slot. I have a very similar passport wallet that I've used for 35 years that will fit a passport in each compartment either side--very useful if you have dual citizenship or carry a child's passport as well as your own. It's a tiny bit bigger (see photo with the new one sitting on top of the old one). If this one were just a smidge taller (just under .5 cm/.25 inch more) it would be perfect. One option would be to put one or two passports in the slots intended for currency or papers (see photos), but then they'd be at risk of falling out. I'd purchased this as a gift for a relative who is off on a long trip. I ended up choosing a lesser quality wallet instead. It won't last as long as this would have, so maybe someday when a replacement is needed this one will have 'grown'.I had a question about the product so I emailed Royce and the owner of the company personally responded. Royce is a great company and this product is fantastic for international travel. Everyone in my family has one for their trips and I just bought another to give to a friend before his big trip to Europe! After 15 years of daily use of a Budd leather passport wallet that was used as a regular wallet, it finally met its end. Unable to find another one just like it, I came across the Royce passport wallet. I don't like typical women's wallets because they're way too big & bulky. I like the small passport wallet which happens to fit either in my smaller sized purses or even in a coat or pant pocket. This Royce suits the bill, pun intended. The navy blue leather is just beautiful & soft. It will need a little breaking in period but that's to be expected. The only thing I wish it had was a couple more "credit card" pockets. Because I'm using this as my daily wallet, that means there are cards of all types that I don't want to be without (eg., credit, health insurance, all those stupid grocery store "VIP" cards, etc). And I also like to keep some business cards in it too. So it's a little tight right now. Maybe Royce can keep it in mind. If I'm able to travel & need my passport, this will work perfectly as well, minus all of what will be unnecessary cards that are currently in it.It’s just what I was looking for: I wanted a blue wallet with a plain cover, RFID protection, and horizontally-oriented ID and card slots. The blue is actually a very dark navy color, darker than shown in the picture. It was nicely presented in a small box complete with a bow. The passport wallet was well-made with a high-quality appearance. My new regular-size passport fit very snugly at first, but became much easier to insert and remove after being stored in the pocket for a day. The number of storage pockets gives the wallet versatility and you can place the passport in a different area, or slide a cover into one of the side pockets if it’s too thick to fit in the passport slot. The passport wallet is perfect for cruising. When going ashore it’s all I need to take to have the necessities with me - my passport, ship card, ID, U.S./local spending money in the double currency pockets, excursion tickets in one of the side storage compartments, and one credit card (although you can easily put two cards in each slot if you want to carry numerous ones). It is slim enough to fit in my front pants pocket and I don’t need to carry a purse (snatcher/slasher target). I definitely recommend this passport wallet!Great wallet for travel. I traveled to Sydney from USA and kept this in my jacket pocket the entire time.It is bigger than most wallets, and it did fit my jacket pocket, but barely. If you don't have deep pockets (literally), this can be a fidgety item to remove from the jacket.Does fit your passport as expected. It has to be stretched out the first time. After that, it's fine. That also means it's as big as a passport. Be aware of this if it is intended to go in your pants pockets.Has two separate compartments for different cash currencies. One is deeper than the other, which is slightly clunky.Side Note: Due to the RFID blocking technology, this WILL set off the metal detectors in the airports. So, anyone with TSA Pre-Check or Global Entry will need to remove this from your pocket. This had been my everydaycarry since I bought it, and it's still a great wallet.Looks great, and feels great.Though there is some wear in the center of the outside, and noticeable wear inside it's not an issue because I've had it for years. The only things to note are that if you carry this in your front pocket like I do it will wear from friction, and if you don't have anything on the inside where it expects a passport (I have a small notepad) the card slots will find into the opposite side leaving lines and the leather will sort of stick to itself.
